The 3rd edition of Letters of Hope, a one of a kind film and letter writing experience presented by The Drawing Room Club x DocNights by Bitchitra Collective. Letters of Hope brings a group of strangers together to watch films about the world around us, pause with what they leave behind, and reflect through conversation and guided letter writing.
For this edition, we bring together two films about beings fighting for a place to survive:
- Colonies in Conflict by Rajani Mani
- Tainted Waters by Amitha Balachandra?
Through stories of changing habitats, conflict and coexistence, the films ask us to look more closely at what it means to share space and find common ground with the living world around us.
What We’ll Do Together:
- Watch both films together
- Reflect on the ideas, emotions and questions they leave us with
- Move through guided letter writing prompts
- Come together for an intimate sharing and reflection circle
