BRIEF ENCOUNTERS in association with GARMI KI CHUTTI presents - World Environment Day.
ENTRY FREE
In 1972, the United Nations created World Environment Day to help everyone — kids, parents, cities, countries — remember one thing: This planet is our only home.
Each June 5, we focus on two things:
1. Awareness — noticing what’s happening to forests, icebergs, animals, and our weather.
2. Action — doing small things every day to protect them.
Why does it matter to children?
Because they feel it first — hotter summers, unseasonal rain, fewer trees to climb. Kids need to know if we’re taking care of the beautiful world we share.
Nature is not a backdrop. It’s a living, breathing friend.
It nurtures trees, bees, frogs, fish, mammals — and us.
This World Environment Day, join us as nature educator and wildlife conservationist Keren Perreira shares stories about life cycles, endangered species, conservation, and climate. Together, we’ll learn how to care better for the Earth that cares for us.
