Set across two intertwined worlds, Distant traces the fragile rhythms of ordinary lives caught between duty, identity, and quiet despair. Inder, suspended from work, wanders through uncertain days with his curious young son, concealing his own failures while attempting to shield the child from their consequences. Elsewhere, an ageing priest and his son clash over tradition, memory, and the meaning of faith, as buried histories resurface. Parallel to them, Kunti returns home after years in prison, confronting a father whose dreams for her were undone by rebellion and circumstance.
