A surreal visual allegory on otherness, purity politics, and the impossibility of Black genius in a white world.

3. Feature Film:

- Get Out by Jordan Peele

A defining work of Afrosurrealism, blurring reality and fantasy through eerie calm, shärp satire, and nightmare logic, Get Out shows that the horror isn't fantasy, it's the truth, just slightly twisted to make it impossible to ignore.

B. Dalit Lens

1. Short Films:

3 short films. A compelling constellation of caste, gender, and marginality across different geographies, unified by their quiet resistance.

2. Beyond the Narrative: Art Exhibit

Beyond the Narrative aims to platform Dalit artists and others from historically excluded communities, not necessarily for their ability to portray marginalization, but for their right to imagine beyond it. It seeks to hold space for artists whose practices engage with abstraction, surrealism, speculative worlds, mysticism, absurdity, and personal myth-making, mediums and themes historically reserved for dominant sections of society and heralded as "high art."
